Gestural Earth Vessel in Black and Speckled Stoneware Clay

This vessel speaks to the quiet drama of shifting landscapes. Swirling textures move across the surface like natural forces in motion, while the contrast between light and dark clay bodies creates depth and subtle variation. The gestures feel embedded within the form, revealing themselves gradually through changing light and perspective.

Formed from layered black and speckled stoneware, the surface is left unglazed and sealed with a satin finish, preserving the raw, tactile quality of the clay. Both grounded and expressive, the piece suggests a landform shaped over time??an intuitive dialogue between hand, material, and memory.
